In the first half of the film, Belle is dressed in blue. Blue is often associated with discontentment, loneliness, sorrow and it is no accident that these coincide with Belle’s feelings whenever she wears that dress. As Belle and the Beast’s relationship progresses, Belle is seen in a Green dress, a color that incites calmness and relaxation. Then, during the song “Something There” she wears Pink which is popularly known for its association with young love. Yellow, however, is the color of happiness and joy which brings us to her iconic gown.

So when I actually GET to making my cloak this is pretty much what I want it to look like. I definitely want it to be red and I really like the way the hood is gathered in the back. Mine will just be a bit shorter (usually they didn’t drag on the ground like that) and probably not have a ribbon down each side.

HOPEFULLY by next season I will get to this…

O_o I want one of these. So badly. The only reason I would ever get married in the cold would be to wear one of these over my dress. The ONLY REASON.
